Leaders of minority parties are being deceived into proposing alliances, alleges SJB general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
He has told ‘Deshaya’ that his party was not interested in these proposals calling to support the government.
The SJB will not have anything to do with a government without a public mandate, Madduma Bandara has stressed.
Earlier, SLFP general secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said they would support an all-party government for a definite programme.
The SLFP will not join the government as individuals by accepting ministerial positions, he added.
