Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias Harak Kata today (29) filed a fundamental rights petition in the Supreme Court seeking an order to the police to ensure his safety whilst in detention.
The petitioner is also seeking an order for him to be produced before courts.
The respondents cited in the case are the IGP, senior DIG (western province), director and OIC of the CID among others.
