Former Colombo Archbishop Oswald Gomis passed away in the early hours of this morning (03), aged 90.
He had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo at the time of his death.
A former chancellor of the Colombo University, he was also known for his services towards religious harmony and to literature.
