Two persons are being questioned at Mullaitivu police station following a protest against state-backed construction of a Buddhist temple at Kurunthurmalai in violation of a court order, says Journalists for Democracy – Sri Lanka.
They are T. Raviharan, a former member of the Northern Provincial Council, and R. Mayuran, who heads the Kumulamunai village officers association, it adds.
