Arun Siddharthan, United National Party (UNP) organiser for Jaffna, has been appointed a supreme council member and Jaffna chief organizer of the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP).
Giving him the appointment yesterday (22), MJP leader Dilith Jayaweera said he believed Siddharthan would contribute towards taking the country forward progressively.
For his part, Siddharthan said he has chosen the camp suited for his ideals to repay his debts to the country.
He was appointed the UNP’s Jaffna organizer by the party’s national secretary Ravi Karunanayake a few months ago.
