There will be no debate between the economic committees of the National People's Power (NPP) and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), said NPP’s Sunil Handunnetti.
"On 06 June, it will be a faceoff between the leaders of the two parties only. If needed, that could be followed by another between the two economic committees", said Handunnetti.
SJB’s Nalin Bandara, in a letter, suggested a debate between the two economic committees on a date between 27 and 31 May, and another between the two party leaders on a date between 03 to 06 June.
