The country and the UNP are the ones with the best auspicious times in Sri Lanka, said president Ranil Wickremesinghe revealing a secret.
He was addressing the UNP May Day rally near P.D. Sirisena grounds in Maligawatte.
Wickremesinghe explained that the late D.S. Senanayake found the best auspicious time on a 09 September to form the UNP.
Also, he did the same for the country to gain independence, he said.
With the country and the UNP having the best auspicious times, we have been able to revive the country, claimed the president.
Speaking further, he invited the SJB, NPP and other parties to enter into a pact with the government to rebuild the country further for the sake of the people.
The country will revert back to the dark era of queues if decisions against the economy are taken, he warned.
