The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is investigating the distortion of a Sinhala New Year song sung by Rohana Beddage and its circulation on social media.
It has been ordered by minister Vidura Wickramanayake.
Ministry secretary Somaratne Vidanapathirana said the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission has been instructed to find out as to who distorted the song.
