Weaknesses in governance are causing state entities to incur huge losses and to be in an irreversible condition, said SJB MP Kabir Hashim.
A future government by the SJB will restructure those institutions by taking the models proven successful in Malaysia and Singapore as examples and in a transparent manner, he said.
A new technical model will be chosen for their restructuring that will ensure the state retains rights or regulates the institutions without allowing them any monopoly, he added.
