Actor-politician Uddika Premaratne and his family members arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (28) on board an Emirates flight.
Premaratne tendered his resignation from his parliamentary seat a few weeks ago from Canada.
He has refuted media reports that he had sought political asylum in that country.
Premaratne is expected to attend today’s Sarasavi Film awards ceremony.
