The determination of the timeframe of a mass grave at Tiruketeeswaram in Mannar is getting delayed due to a lack of funds.
A total of 82 human body remains have been exhumed from the site since its finding in 2013.
JMO Dhananjaya Waidyaratne has informed the Mannar courts the OMP was yet to respond to a request for funding for the carbon-testing of the body parts.
The next hearing of the court case is due on 13 May.
