If president Ranil Wickremesinghe is not abroad, he travels around the country and makes false promises, said SJB MP S.M. Marikkar.
None of the promises he has given have been fulfilled so far, he said at a media briefing in Colombo today (12).
In Trincomalee, he promises an investment zone, for Nuwara Eliya it is a tourism zone, an archaeology zone is promised for Galle while saying in Arugam Bay that a surfing zone will be formed, the MP noted.
Without having any regard for the next generation, the president sells off just anything and everything.
Wickremesinghe showed at the UNP rally in Kuliyapitiya he is none other than a henchman of the Rajapaksas and made a speech full of hatred, anger and dishonesty against the SJB, said the MP.
He will not contest elections and in less than he will have to go home, he added.
