MP Wimal Weerawsansa says Gotabaya Rajapaksa should not have written the book on his claim of a conspiracy that ousted him from presidency.
Weerawansa said he was yet to take a look at the book, but going by what its readers have told him, it was pointless for him to make a general reference to foreign forces behind the conspiracy he claims.
Gotabaya should have specified individuals, countries and the manner of the so-called conspiracy, said the SLC leader said in Nawagamuwa yesterday (07).
The book is for sale at Vijitha Yapa and Sarasavi bookshops.
Meanwhile, Gotabaya’s advisor Eranda Ginige says some are without any self-confidence to read the book.
Claiming a big demand for the book, he said in a facebook post that the first batch had been sold out within six hours.
