The serious question before the country is not about party politics, but one about its future, said NPP’s economic council member Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma.
It is a choice between ruination with rampant fraud and corruption, or taking the country forward through a production-based economy.
He said it has nothing to do with choosing a party to govern the country.
He was addressing a party event at Cinnamon Grand Hotel on 25 February.
Dr. Suriyapperuma explained at length the NPP’s plan for the economy, adding that it has been formulated with the involvement of a large gathering of economic experts.
