Inspector General of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon pledged to dedicate the maximum capacity of the Sri Lankan Police force to the ongoing 'Operation Yukthiya.'
This statement came after he paid respects at Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanwelisaya.
He said " We have identified the organized criminals in this country and so we plan to provide to maximum police force to hunt down the drug traffickers and organized criminals.
He also added that prompt and efficient police force will be provided to locate these crimes in the upcoming three months.
