Sagala Ratnayaka, the chief-of-staff and national security advisor to president Ranil Wickremesinghe, had his birthday on the 27th.
He marked the occasion in an unusual manner.
Sagala posted a message on social media about the attempts made in the past year or so to revive the country under president Wickremesinghe’s leadership.
It looks like the beginning of a campaign for upcoming elections.
