The National Medicines Regulatory Authority has been accused of trying to coverup a scam in the import of prednisolone oral solution, which it had been aware of.
A WOR and two other certificates submitted with regard to this import have been found to be fakes, said health trade unionist Ravi Kumudesh.
This scam happened in early 2023, after which the controversial human immunoglobulin racket took place in October same year, he said.
Kumudesh said he has lodged a complaint to the CID with regard to the prednisolone scam.
