Justice minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has discussed land issues in the east with the province’s divisional secretaries.
At the meeting on 24 February at the Batticaloa district secretariat, he promised to raise any unauthorized use of land after the war, with the lands minister and the attorney general.
State ministers Anuradha Jayaratne and Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, ministry secretary M.N. Ranasinghe and other officials attended.
