NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has asked the people to make a choice between either rallying for a common cause or standing for safeguarding the VIP class.
In an interview with BBC Sinhala Service, he said that would be the political clash in the future.
“So, I believe that no citizen cannot claim to be independent and stay out. They should either safeguard the corrupt VIP or rally for a common cause,” he said.
Dissanayake explained his nation-building programme, foreign policy, economic strategy etc. during the interview.
