The complaint made by late State Minister Sanath Nishantha's wife regarding the death of her husband must be investigated into soon and the culprits brought to book if it was an organised murder,

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Johnston Fernando said today (22).

Speaking during the vote of condolence in Parliament on the late State Minister, he said it was suspicious whether the death of Sanath Nishantha was an organised murder or death due to an accident.

He said Nishantha's wife had complained to the CID as she deemed her husbands death as suspicious.

"The complaint made by Sanath Nishantha's wife must be investigated into soon and if it was an organised murder, the culprits must be brought before courts and punished," he said.
