The United Republic Front led by MP Patali Champika Ranawaka says it will initiate a dialogue with the people on how it should perform once gaining political power.
Its politburo chief Karu Paranawithana notes that no party has so far undertaken such a mechanism.
People have lost their faith in politics due to rampant bribery, corruption, incompetence and other factors, says Paranawithana.
As a step towards liberating the people from the present repression, the URF has introduced a common minimum programme about which a dialogue will be initiated with the public, he adds.
