Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga has refuted media and social media reports claiming that she is backing various candidates at the upcoming Presidential election.
In a statement, the office of Ms. Bandaranaike states that although reports also claimed her as accepting to head the People’s Alliance leadership council, so such decision has been taken yet.
