Discussions are underway on forming a new political alliance by the National Freedom Front, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, Lanka Sama Samaja Party and Communist Party of Sri Lanka, reports ‘Anidda’.
MPs Charitha Herath and Dayasiri Jayasekara too, are at talks to join this alliance
The new alliance will propose a programme different from President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s neoliberal economic programme.
