An ailing Sri Lanka needs a smart leader who can uplift the country, said senior vice president of the United Republic Party Shiral Lakthilaka.
He said his party leader Patali Champika Ranawaka is such a capable manager who can take the nation forward.
Speaking at a public rally Athurugiriya, Lakthilaka said a fake cannot be the remedy to the ailing Sri Lankan society, he said.
A smart leader as a biological concept is one who commands expansive talents, Lakthialaka said, adding that Ranawaka has that capability.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe prevented the country’s further fall and what remains to be done now is to uplift it.
But, Sajith Premadasa or Anura Kumara Dissanayake cannot do that.
Ranawaka will be the conscience of the people who think the country should be elevated a step up from its present state, he added.
