A 15-year-old Tamil boy has been questioned twice by the police in Mullaitivu for allegedly having shown the Eelam map in a kite at a festival.
Yellow and red, considered Tamil national colours, were used in it too.
A day after a beach kite festival took place on 28 January, police visited the boy’s home and inquired from him if he was influenced by anyone to do so.
The boy replied that he took the design from a kite shown on facebook.
