Former Army chief Daya Ratnayake, who joined the SJB just recently, visited the MJP office in Borella and met its leader Dilith Jayaweera,
according to social media posts with pictures of the meeting.
Ratnayake came under fire by SJB MP Sarath Fonseka, who called a media briefing yesterday afternoon (31) and strongly disapproved of the party’s decision to accept him.
Attempts were unsuccessful to reach Jayaweera over the phone for a comment.
