War heroes have an especial role to play in the elimination of corrupt and destructive economic terrorism, said opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
The country rescued from terrorism is today under the repressive economic terrorism by politicians, he charged at a meeting in Kegalle yesterday (28).
A humanitarian offensive is needed again to rid the country of fraud and swindling and to create a prosperous nation by making use of national resources, he said.
Premadasa went onto say that 22 million people have to pay for the sins of economic terrorists who misuse state assets and raised taxes.
