“There is a section of young people who do not need politics. They are in a different world. That group is increasing more and more in Sri Lanka. There is another section that thinks liberally. They don’t have any Socialism or capitalism. Among them there are people who have bad thoughts.
I don’t think they will vote for JVP. Another part is suffering from unemployment. There is a part that says there is no remuneration for the work done. Those are the people who are attracted to JVP.
The Rajapaksa left, and when he left, he brought Wickramasinghe. They say they need to bring in a new person to beat all of them. Gotabaya was brought in the same way. I don’t think what is the program of these people.
Next time the election is only about the economy. How to feed the child? How to get the things that the children like. Children do not understand this economic crisis.
