The Sri Lanka Journal of Health Research 2022 has been launched.
It is a compilation of health research that was carried out during that year by doctors, nurses, supplementary medicines and other professionals in the sector.
The annual journal is compiled under the supervision of additional secretary (medical services) Dr. Sunil de Alwis.
It will be issued biannually in the future, said the Health Ministry.
Speaking at the launch, health minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana said artificial intelligence will transform the health sector in the coming years.
Also present on the occasion were health secretary Dr. Palitha Mahipala and director general of the National Science Foundation Dr. Sepalika Sudasinghe.
