A public dialogue will take place tomorrow (18) in Colombo on the need to abolish the executive presidency.
It is being organized by the Movement for a Just Society and will be attended by Ven. Mugutuwatawana Siddatta Thera, Dr. Nihal Jayawickrama, Dr. Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu and Rohana Hettiarachchi.
Participants will discuss the issues and challenges that have arisen due to the authoritarian decisions taken after the 1978 constitution.
