As many as 212 vehicles registered to the name of the secretary to the education ministry have been unaccounted for, said the National Audit Office in a report.
Ministry officials have told the auditors that information regarding these vehicles would be called from the respective institutions.
The National Audit Office has instructed them to correctly identify the vehicles registered to the name of the ministry secretary.
Officials have failed to answer as to why those vehicles had not been registered to the name of the user institution as stipulated.
