Leading entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera has reportedly resigned from all chairman and director board member positions he has held with effect from 01 January.
In all, he has resigned from 24 companies under Power House Ltd. that owns ‘Derana’ and Liberty Publishers Ltd. Which publishes ‘Aruna’ newspaper.
Now fully involved in politics, Jayaweera is to contest the next presidential election as leader of Mawbima Janatha Party.
