The Consumer Affairs Authority seized 825 kg of expired milk powder from a seller during a raid at Colombo Pettah yesterday (22).
Investigations so far have revealed that ice-cream and sweets producers were regular customer of the place that sold expired milk powder.
A court case will be filed against its owner, said the Authority.
