The government will allocate Rs. 11,250 million through district coordinating committees to resume the decentralized budget programme which had been put on hold for three years, president Ranil Wickremesinghe said.
He was addressing the district coordinating committee meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo today (21).
The money would be released to district secretaries in the first week of January 2024, said the president.
