Neither the SJB nor its alliance will have any political involvement with the SLPP that darkened lives and made the country bankrupt,
or any politician in power with its support, said SJB general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
In a statement, he unreservedly condemned attempts by the SLPP and the incumbent president over their childish attempts to create doubt in the minds of the public with regard to the SJB-led alliance and its leadership.
What we want is to eliminate such persons from politics and bring them and their supporters to book, he added.
