A complaint has been lodged with the police against a civil society activist who telephones MPs and ridicules them, said state minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake in parliament yesterday (07).

He claimed the person in question had given calls to his colleague Diana Gamage and him and spoken very badly about them.

The state minister identified the man as Sahan Ganegoda, an Army deserter and an activist at 'Aragalaya'.

Also, there are a number of rape cases pending against him, he said.

Dassanayake said Ganegoda's page has a picture of the opposition leader.

Mud-slinging cannot stop him, he said, and asked other MPs to keep a tab on him.
