When certain political party leaders claim that they will institute legal action against those who have engaged in fraud and corruption once they come to power, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has already taken those responsible for bankrupting this country before courts by taking necessary legal action while being in the opposition, SJB leader Sajith Premadasa said.
Addressing a conference in Minuwangoda, he observed that his party can catch thieves better as they aren't in bed with them.
Premadasa requested the public not be fooled by the theatrics of certain politicians who display files on alleged corruption.
SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara, National Organiser Tissa Attanayake, Dr. Harsha de Silva, Harshana Rajakaruna, Hirunika Premachandra, Mujibur Rahman and Vijith Vijayamuni Soyza were also present at the conference.
