A complaint has been lodged at the court of appeal against political activist Oshala Herath over his criticism of a court ruling on the parliamentary seat held by Diana Gamage.
The complainant is secretary of ‘Vinivida Peramuna’ Nagananda Kodituwakku, who said Herath was in contempt of court when he referred to the verdict in an interview on YouTube channel ‘Meemesso’ on 05 November.
The CA rejected the writ petition filed by Herath seeking an order to invalidate Gamage’s MP seat.
