Top officials of the now suspended Sri Lanka Cricket have been summoned before COPE for a hearing into allegations of fraud, corruption and malpractices.
They are due to appear at the committee on 14 November at 2.00 pm.
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena told sports minister Roshan Ranasinghe in parliament yesterday (10) to inform COPE about any accusations against the SLC.
Top SLC officials came under criticism for their absence at a recent meeting of the ministry’s advisory committee.
