TNA MP Nadaraja Raviraj has been remembered in Jaffna on the 17th anniversary of his death in Colombo.
A statue erected for him at Chavakachcheri was garlanded by ITAK MP Mavai Senadhiraja and others on 10 November.
Raviraj was gunned down on 10 November 2006, with three Navy men being the accused.
A High Court released them from the charge later.
