Sandya Ekneligoda has surpassed 5,000 days in her quest for justice over the disappearance of her journalist husband, with a fresh call for an international investigation.
She spoke to the media at her home at Makumbura in Kottawa on 04 October, where she described the insults and ridicule she has undergone during her yet unfinished search for Prageeth Ekneligoda.
Sandya recalled that Ranil Wickremesinghe had promised, as the prime minister of the good governance regime, to help her obtain justice.With him now the president, she said she is now asking him not to intervene but to stop interfering in the related judicial process.
