Only the swindlers of public money will unite to protect this murderous government, SJB MP S.M. Marikkar said today (06), adding that his party had no need whatsoever to join forces with killers.
Participating in the debate on the no-faith motion against health minister Keheliya Rambukwella, the MP said a motion against the entire regime should be moved.
“There is no other fraudulent, extravagant government than this one. It is only thieves who would get together to protect government like this,” said Marikkar.
People are burdened to the maximum with taxes and the government squeezes them dry, he said, adding that exposing its frauds and corruption is like casting pearls before swine.
Govt. with murderous past
Speaking further, the MP said the murderous past of the Rajapaksa regime is being exposed now.
This government came to power with that bloodstained past, in which racism and hatred against Tamils and Muslims were provoked, he said.
The MP urged the speaker to dissolve parliament and allow the public opinion to take its course.
