The Colombo National Hospital will have to suspend the use of its PET Scanner after the next fortnight, said president of the government radiographers association Chanaka Dharmawickrama.
This is due to the retirement and migration of radiography professionals, he said.
Also, the Linear Accelerators at Kandy and Batticaloa hospitals are not in use for several months now as they have malfunctioned, he said.
