Around 5,000 doctors are awaiting migration after having completed the required qualifications, said the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA).
It said in a statement that 1,500 doctors have already left the country.
Noting that brain drain of doctors would cause serious issued even at leading hospitals, the GMOA said it will raise awareness among the public and the authorities about this issue, said the statement.
