Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has called for an immediate inquiry into a foreign intelligence report that claims an imminent
society eruption in the guise of a clash among communities and religions.
This warning exposed by local and international media is a matter of grave concern for national security and parties should be convened for a meeting to find out its veracity, he told parliament yesterday (24).
No such intelligence warning
Answering the opposition leader, state minister of defence Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon rejected having received any such intelligence warning.
