Sujith Akkarawatte is someone who tries to detach the country’s history from racism and religious extremism and go it through a liberal narrative.
Both their attempts meet at Lakshman Kadirgamar Centre in Colombo, on 24 August.
On that day, Sujith’s attempt at history in book form, ‘Vayama’, is launched in memory of Mangala, to mark the latter’s second year remembrance.
