The United National Party (UNP) will have a number of its positions annulled once it adopts a new constitution.
Only the leader, chairman, general secretary and treasurer positions will remain.
The new constitution will introduce a high post committee to take charge of party activities.
It will consist of party seniors as well as current office-bearers, whose positions will come to be annulled.
