Opposition MP Rohini Kumari Wijeratne has questioned the realization of an internal inquiry into alleged sexual abuse of female housekeepers in parliament.
The victims are under pressure to sign letters of withdrawal of their complaints, the SJB MP charged.
Secretary general of parliament Kushani Rohanadeera appointed a three member committee to inquire into allegations of sexual abuse against certain officers.
MP Wijeratne asked Rohanadeera to take stern action against the abusers.
