MP Namal Rajapaksa says he will personally, as well as the SLPP as a party, mediate in granting relief to farmers whose crops have been damaged.
Speaking at a party meeting in Hiriyala, he said the SLPP would always speak on behalf of the people.
Similar to its intervention in the matter over ‘Aswesuma’, the party would bring the government’s attention to granting relief to farmers for losing their crops due to the drought.
