Several female housekeepers of the parliamentary complex have reportedly been harassed sexually or otherwise by certain superior officials for some time.
They have complained to the administration that they face reprisals in various forms for rejecting such overtures.
The female parliamentarians caucus too, will be informed, they said.
Secretary general of parliament Kushani Rohanadeera said she would take stern action if the allegations are proven true.
Some of the female staffers are reluctant to complaint for fear of losing their jobs.
